In an increasingly difficult economic climate, with consumers facing increasingly high bills for their electricity, there is a clear demand from many international governments for increasing alternative means of energy supply to the grid. Wind power, both onshore and offshore is becoming increasingly utilized as an alternative source. So can we produce more cost effective and reliable wind power? What are the challenges to this and are they being met?
