Fronius launches new solar PV central inverters

17 March 2010

The new Fronius CL central inverter series with power classes 36, 48 and 60 kW is suited for solar PV (photovoltaic) systems up to several hundred kilowatts, Fronius says.

The Fronius CL central inverter consists of up to 15 power racks working together, and is said to offer high partial load efficiency, reliability, long service life and high serviceability.

The central inverters use HF transformer technology can achieve an MPP adaptation efficiency of 99.9%.

Fronius operates in three industries: battery charging, welding technology and solar electronics. The company is based in Austria.
