Trina Solar increases solar module shipments to Enerqos

Trina Solar Ltd has increased its yearly shipments of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules to Italian solar PV system and plant construction company Enerqos SPA.

Trina Solar is increasing its committed quantity to Enerqos to 23 MW of solar PV modules in 2010 from 2 MW in 2009. Shipments include 13 MW and 10 MW of solar PV modules for the first and second half of 2010, respectively, with agreed prices for the first and second quarter of 2010.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with ENERQOS, a leading European engineering company which provides traditional EPC services, as well as high value added services and system integration capabilities," says Ben Hill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Europe at Trina Solar.

"This strategic combination of Trina Solar's high quality modules and Enerqos’ extensive field experience and expertise in supplying turnkey solar systems solutions will allow Trina Solar to realise market share gains across rapidly growing photovoltaic markets in Europe."
