Atlantis Energy Systems gets 2009 solar BIPV award

The Frost & Sullivan '2009 World Building-Integrated Photovoltaic Niche Player of the Year Award', has been presented to Atlantis Energy Systems (AES).

Atlantis was given the award for its “successful initiatives in entering a niche market with innovative and user friendly solutions, understanding the needs of the customers and providing solutions, blending innovative developments, years of experience, superior quality, and service” within solar building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) products.

The solar BIPV company's flagship product, SUNSLATES, launched in 1998, is a complete solar electric roofing tile system with a roof warranty.

The award

The Niche Player of the Year Award is presented to a company that has demonstrated excellence in its market by successfully offering a highly focused product line within its specific market segment.
