THEOLIA completes financing of 30 MW wind project in Italy

Maestrale Green Energy, THEOLIA’s Italian subsidiary, has closed the financing of a 30 MW wind project under construction in the province of Enna in Sicily.

The non-recourse project financing of the wind project amounting of €51 million, was signed with the banks Unicredit and WestLB.

Construction of the wind project started during the second half of 2009 and its commissioning is expected during the first half of 2010.
