Two turbines have been delivered to the client, ONE (Office National de l’Electricité) and are already providing a total of 300 MW hybrid solar-gas power to the Moroccan electrical network. Abener O&M is responsible for operation and maintenance.
The solar field has been concluded with the placement of the parabolic trough collectors and the testing has already started.
The solar field has a reflecting surface of more than 180,000 m2 and has 20 MW. The remaining 150 MW come from steam turbines, recovery boilers and an air condenser.
