World Future Energy Summit officially opened

18 January 2010

Hosted by Masdar, the World Future Energy Summit has been inaugurated by H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in Abu Dhabi.

The opening ceremony took place, with energy experts gathered with the goal of identifying practical and sustainable solutions for today’s energy security, environment and climate change challenges.

Frederic Theux, President of Reed Exhibitions Middle East, the organisers of the World Future Energy Summit, says: “The agenda for this year’s Summit surpasses any previous years, which in themselves have been very impressive. The level of participation this year is unprecedented and a true testament to the focus the world now has on renewable energy.”

The World Future Energy Summit, a global collaborative platform, promoting innovation and investment opportunities in renewable energy and the environment.
