WAAREE wins order for 5.75MW solar PV plant in Indian state of Maharashtra

India’s WAAREE Energies Pvt Ltd has won a turnkey project order for a 5.75MW thin film solar PV power plant.

WAAREE will complete the thin film solar PV project for Shree Saibaba sugar factory, Latur, Maharashtra, India. “This power plant will be one of its kind in Maharashtra,” said Adinath Sangwe, Technical Director of Shree Saibaba sugar factory. It “will provide the much needed momentum for grid base solar power in Maharashtra."

Hitesh Doshi, Chairman of WAAREE Group, said the project “represents an important milestone” for the Group. With 100MW manufacturing capacity a year, WAAREE Energies is a fast growing manufacturer of solar PV panels

The company also provides additional services including design engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of solar PV power plants. In addition, it owns its own portfolio of solar PV plants and has recently diversified in solar thermal too.
