Centrosolar revenues double in Q2 2010

04 August 2010

Centrosolar says its revenues more than doubled to €124 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2010.

The German solar company says the revenue increase is partially due to the ramp up in production capacity, and the effect of the reduction in the German feed-in tariff in July.

EBIT climbed from a loss of €4m in Q2 2009 to a profit of €12.9m in 2010. Net income amounted to €8.6m, compared to a loss of €30.9m in Q2 2009.

Outlook

For the full year, Centrosolar expects revenues of €370m, and an EBIT in the range of €24-28m.
