Canadian government funding to H2FCC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, July 28, 2008.
The Canadian government is investing in Hydrogen & Fuel Cells Canada (H2FCC) to advance the development and commercialisation of Canadian hydrogen and fuel cells technologies, products and services.

The Vancouver-based non-profit national industry association will receive C$1 million, which will aid the association in executing its five-year strategic and operation plan until 2013, including initiating and implementing several market development and technology demonstration activities.

“With our Government’s contribution to this project, Canada will maintain its prominence as a leader in the field of hydrogen and fuel cell technology,” says Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament. “The Government of Canada is fulfilling its commitment to improve Canada’s competitive position in scientific research and development.”
